Every TrailKeeps model is individually manufactured to order using high-resolution multi-color 3D printing.

Custom Manufacturing Turnaround

Because each keepsake incorporates unique geographic coordinates, custom color choices, and personalized embossed text, each order is individually sliced and scheduled for 3D printing. Production, quality inspection, and packaging typically require 5 to 7 business days before shipment.

Transit & Delivery Estimates

• Domestic (Malaysia): 3 to 5 business days with end-to-end tracking.
• Overseas: We currently ship within Malaysia only. If you want your keepsake shipped overseas, contact us.

You will receive an automated shipping notification with an active carrier tracking link as soon as your package is dispatched from our workshop.

Packaging & Protection

All terrain keepsakes are securely nestled inside custom-fitted rigid shipping boxes with bubble wrap cushioning to protect against transit abrasion and impact damage. Please note that bubble wrap is not recyclable through most kerbside programmes.

Custom-Manufactured Products Policy

Because every TrailKeeps model is made-to-order based on your chosen location, route coordinates, and personalized text, orders cannot be returned or refunded for buyer's remorse once slicing and physical 3D printing have begun.

100% Reprint Guarantee for Transit Damage

If your 3D keepsake arrives damaged, cracked, or with manufacturing defects, we will provide a 100% free reprint or full refund. We want you to love your keepsake without reservation.

To request a reprint or refund:

• Contact us within 14 days of delivery at trailkeeps@gmail.com.
• Include your order reference ID (e.g. tk_...) and clear photos of the damaged model and exterior packaging.
• Our support team will review and confirm your reprint within 1 business day.

Physical Characteristics of 3D Printing

Our terrain keepsakes are produced using precision multi-material fused filament fabrication (FFF/FDM). Layer-by-layer additive manufacturing inherently produces microscopic horizontal layer lines and natural surface micro-textures. These are characteristic hallmarks of physical 3D prints, not defects.

Terms of Service

By using TrailKeeps Studio and placing an order, you agree to the following terms.

Personal Use & Uploaded GPS Data

Customers are responsible for ensuring they have the right or permission to use any GPS route files (.gpx) uploaded to TrailKeeps Studio. You retain all ownership rights to your uploaded route data. TrailKeeps uses uploaded GPS files solely to render your 3D model preview and manufacture your physical order.

OpenStreetMap & Elevation Data Attribution

Terrain heightfields, satellite elevation grids, and vector geographic layers (watercourses, woodlands, highways) are processed from open data sources, including OpenStreetMap contributors. Map data is © OpenStreetMap contributors under the Open Database License (ODbL).

Order Cancellation Window

You may cancel an order for a full refund within 2 hours of payment by contacting trailkeeps@gmail.com with your order ID. After 2 hours, the digital model is queued for automated slicing and material preparation, after which cancellation is no longer possible.

Decorative Keepsake Purpose

TrailKeeps models are decorative artistic keepsakes designed for display and commemoration. They are not intended, certified, or suitable for navigational, mountaineering, orienteering, or safety-critical route planning.

Privacy Policy

Your privacy is fundamental. We collect only what is strictly necessary to fulfill your 3D print.

Data We Collect

• Order Information: Your name, email address, and physical shipping address provided during checkout.
• Design Parameters: Geographic bounding box coordinates, print size, color palette selections, and custom embossed text labels.
• Optional Route Coordinates: GPS track latitude, longitude, and elevation points if you upload a .gpx file.

Local Browser Storage (Zero Tracking)

TrailKeeps Studio operates as a client-side WebGL application. Draft designs and saved projects are stored locally in your browser's IndexedDB (trailkeeps_hosted_v1) and sessionStorage. We do not transmit your unpurchased drafts to any remote database.

Payment Security with Stripe

All payments are processed securely via Stripe. TrailKeeps never sees, processes, or stores your credit card numbers or sensitive financial data. Stripe's handling of payment data is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.

Zero Ad Trackers or Third-Party Brokers

We do not run third-party advertising networks, sell your personal information, or share data with data brokers. For any privacy inquiries or data deletion requests, contact us at trailkeeps@gmail.com.
